About Us
Supacrete Concrete limited is a Tauranga based company, locally owned and operated. Don Mahoney is the Managing Director, and the Company was first incorporated in 1988 with the purchase of one second hand ready mix truck.
Don's initial philosophy was to be "Simply the Best", not the biggest or the strongest but simply to produce and supply a product that was the best that could be for all applications required. The raw materials along with the technical information were sourced to make that happen, and today in the year 2008 Supacrete's vision to be solution providers around their core line business is a reality, offering a range of products, materials, systems, solutions and services to end users.
"Quality Service" came with communication, feedback and contact with clients at all levels. Supacrete's flat management structure and team approach embraces the importance that all staff are company representatives whose actions, image and behaviour affect perception and relationships in the market place. At all times over the years Don’s door has been open for staff, customers and suppliers to wander in and discuss any concerns or ideas they may have. This flat structure has suited the company well and ensures that all persons whom have dealings with Supacrete are treated with respect.
The Companies exceptionally well-maintained fleet of vehicles is constantly commented upon in the marketplace, it has often been said that Supacrete’s fleet is the most modern fleet of its size in the New Zealand Readymix Concrete Industry.
In reality the initial reasons for the setting up of Supacrete Concrete Ltd was to put food on the table and Don Mahoney did not wish to work for anyone else but himself. His initial visualization has emerged over the years into an extremely successful ready mix concrete company which prides itself on its products, staff and facilities.
The comprehensive display site at 23 Maleme Street, Greerton is never closed and is definitely thought provoking, this coupled with a photographic collection of previous work, a video on the fashionable "Coloured Concrete" and the friendly, knowledgeable staff will truly make your visit worthwhile.
The initial philosophy has not changed and the Company remains "Simply The Best".
